Our Wordpress Website + Training Package (both the Professional and the Corporate version) is our flagship product. We don’t just build an attractive and efffective website for you – we train you how to do it over the telephone and via remote desktop sharing, and therefore give you the means to create as many professional websites as you want, later and on your own. This is an investment in your training and development, in addition to an investment in your business. You don’t have to be technically-minded (it’s a lot easier than you think), and furthermore, you get between 3 and 5 hours of one-on-one time with Marc, a seasoned intenet entrepreneur, to guide you in all aspects of developing your internet business presence. Of course, if you prefer to just have us design your site for you (based on your requirements and feedback), and use your training and coaching time only for questions relating to marketing your site (ie search-engine optimization, mailing lists and autoresponder systems, shopping carts, etc), that is no problem.
Professional WordPress Website + Training Package (3 hours)
This package includes 3 hours of individual training and consultation and unlimited email support for the first 30 days. You should plan on investing the time and resources to complete your site within 30 days. This is typically how the time goes:
- Hour 1: Installing WordPress on your site (if required); navigation the administrative interface; creating pages and posts; theme selection; discussion, review and research on the right theme for your site
- Hour 2: Additional theme customization; using the widget control; CSS settings. Ideally, you should choose a theme and put up at least the home page before the second hour, so that we have something to work with. Choosing a theme is probably your most difficult first task. To make it simpler, see the article How to choose a theme for your business website. Some themes may have a small additional charge (typically $70 or less)
- Hour 3: Configuring mailing list (if required), shopping cart (if required), search-engine optimization and keyword basics. Ideally, you would have most of your content done and published before the third hour. Put place-holder (blank) pages for content that is not ready so we can visualize your navigation structure
Corporate WordPress Website + Training Package (5 hours)
This includes a Professional WordPress Website, with an additional 2 hours of training that can be used to improve your presentation, perform a keyword analysis and search-engine optimization on your site, or help you with other essential tasks in running your web-based business such as working with Constant Contact (newsletter management system), setting up your shopping cart, selling on eBay, and more. There is free email support for 60 days, so you should plan on completing your site within that time.
With the Corporate Website Package, we normally do a full keyword analysis for your business using the free and extremely impressive Market Samurai software, and answer all your questions about search-engine optimization, blogging, mailing lists and autoresponders, payment gateways, affiliate management software, and social media.

Here are some common questions asked of us regarding the WordPress website packages.
Is this a “template” website (how professional will the site look?)
Yes this is a template site. However, there is a very wide range of high-quality (and frequently free) Wordpress templates available, and they can be customized much more easily than with previous systems. In fact, there is very little you can’t do with a Wordpress site. Chances are 9 out of 10 that you will be very satisfied with the look of your site. Even in cases where some professional design assistance is required (see below), you can do about 90% of the work of setting up your site yourself, and delegate the remaining 10% to your designer
When and how is the training conducted?
Training is normally scheduled between the hours of 8am and 1pm, Monday through Thursday. For customers on the West Coast, we can provide time outside of our usual hours. We use remote desktop sharing so you can see everything that is going on, and you can take over the mouse and keyboard for practice purposes whenever you want. Prepare for your training sessions by being at your computer with a telephone headset. That is all.
What if I have trouble coming up with my content?
First of all, if you want to brainstorm possible content, layout and navigation of your site, you can do that in your first hour with Marc. If you have “writer’s block”, or you simply prefer a professional copywriter to create your content (which can be a very good idea), we have professional copywriters and writing coaches on staff.
What if I need a true custom design, or else additional time, or else ongoing assistance?
If you need a true custom design (or higher-end site) than you can find in an off-the-shelf WordPress theme, or else additional marketing assistance, you can purchase extra hours either from Marc or from our offshore design team, at extremely reasonable rates. You deal directly with your designer through our web-based project management system, which tracks all tasks, requests and changes to your site. We charge you only what the designer charges plus a small commission, and we guarantee your satisfaction with the work, thereby minimizing your risk in working with a foreign designer. We have worked with our outsourcing company for years and can attest to their professionalism, responsiveness and quality of work. We also have a direct telephone connection to India so you can speak directly to your designer or programmer. Note that we don’t do just WordPress sites, we can do sites in Joomla, Drupal, or complex custom-programmed sites, with or without Flash.
If I purchase the “Corporate WordPress Website”, how much can I expect to learn about internet marketing in a few hours?
Internet Marketing is a complex topic, and you can’t get a complete education in 2 or 3 hours. However, you can definitely learn the basics in 2 or 3 hours, and having someone to guide you will probably accelerate your learning curve at least 5 times. If there is not time to get into all the aspects that you are interested in, we can provide you a list of very good (and often free) training resources.
